    BOWLING GREEN, KY WEEKEND

July 31st, August 1st and 2nd, 2009, BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky.

Bowling Green!  Where the Heck is Bowling Green?

Bowling Green is the birthplace of the Corvette.  But it is so much more.  It is also home to smooth and twisty roads that climb and turn and rush through the forests.  It is in far southwestern Kentucky and blessed with some of the nicest residents to be found anywhere.

Our cobra friends from Alabama and Windy City Cobra Club are going to join with us in----Bowling Green----for a relaxed weekend that will include visits to the Corvette Museum and factory, the local drag strip to watch or run, and a taste of the turns and lumps that characterize the topography.

Those who can will arrive on Friday afternoon or early evening and those who can't can join us for the Corvette tours on Saturday morning.

Detailed specifics from Roger will be inserted here. Items such as directions, logistics, etc.

After that we will include a trip through the countryside and plan to have dinner together on Saturday evening.  Most will head home after breakfast on Sunday.

Questions, suggestions or comments can be sent to Juan Lopez-Bonilla or appended to the Bowling Green thread in the forum by that name on the Kentucky Cobra Club web site.
