Gathering prophetically at a local pharmacy, the anxious car owners were pumped up on pride and pumping out exhaust fumes to delight the nose and burn the eyes.  Imagine a Rock Concert where everyone drives their dream car into the stadium.  With a sound track to die for.   Now you have the picture --- through the tunnel and into the historic infield at Churchill Downs and on to the awesome Louisville Concours d'Elegance for 2012.  Pop out into sunlight and suddenly you realize, as did Dorothy, you are no longer in Kansas.  We nuzzle up to other prestigious marques and drag out chairs to spend time with car people.  And everyone knows that “car people” are some of the nicest folks on the planet.

Congratulations go to Kevin Collins, his exceptional White with Blue Stripes Cobra CSX 3301, won 2nd place in class. Actually we prefer to say there is no other in his class of Cobra, in our book it is Ist in class.

Even in an election year, car people are all about respect and honor and they lather on a heavy layer of friendly---just because.  We had a wonderful time, we always do.  If you are not in this list then we missed you.  Plan to catch us here about this time next year.  We will be here and cobras will once again be standing proud. Oh, and NASTY, LOUD, HOT, SMELLY, UNCOMFORTABLE and WONDERFUL AS EVER.
