Sara and I would like to invite the club and others to join us on a cruise to Bardstown Bourbon Distillery. The date is Saturday October 19. We will meet at the I-64 Simpsonville exit @ 9:30. We will get on the road by 9:45 and take a 1 hour enjoyable ride through the back roads to the distillery. 

 

Once we arrive at the distillery, around 11am, we will take a tour about an hour or so.  We will learn about the distilling process from grain to bottle. 

 

After the tour they plan on reserving tables for us for lunch. They have a nationally know food and beverage director. He managed the Greenbrier Resort in WV. The meal prices are a little more expensive than we usually pay. They can range from $15-20 a person and you definitely can taste the difference. 

 

I will need an idea of a head count for lunch since they are also quite busy on Saturday’s.
