CobraCountry has been the Internet’s #1 watering hole for Shelby drivin’ machine aficionados ever since its inception in 1995. The site’s 800+ (and ever-growing) web pages encompass just about every serpentine topic from Curt Scott’s editorials and event coverage and tongue-in-cheek humor (his madcap “Hitler Smiley Faces” and “Me ‘n’ Henry” are two of his spoof pages on the site) to his team’s current work-in-progress mega-project—the CobraCountry ‘Yellow Pages’: 50 classified yellow pages of all the Cobra & GT40 parts and service suppliers he can manage to locate, especially including smaller/hard-to-find parts suppliers and service shops. So if you know of some modest producer who makes, say, solid-platinum sidepipes or kangaroo rat–upholstered GT40 seats or whose Cobra body & paint work qualifies him for a pullet surprise (smile)... then let Curt know about ’em!

Be sure to check out (and print out and 3-hole punch) Curt’s recently completed, 17-page magnum opus “Cobra Photography Tips for Dipsticks”—the title alone bespeaks Curt’s pervasive sense of humor. It’s a liberally-illustrated motorcar photography user guide written for the motorhead (perhaps like you) who cares about as much about digital cameras and photography as “a pig cares about Sunday.” You can gauge the caliber of his expert tips in the photo collage above (and in the long-running and enviable Cobra and GT40 sales track record of the site): each of those fine images you see here was captured by a Cobra or GT40 owner who advertised and promptly sold his car on CobraCountry after reading and heeding those tried-and-proven serpent-specific photography tips. Curt characteristically winds up each of his seminars on Cobra photography with his trademark maxim: “Good photographs help you sell your Cobra; snapshots help you line your birdcage.”
