What Happened?

Our February 2014 Snakes N’Eggs Review

We had our first Snakes n’ Eggs of the 2014 Season of the Kentucky Cobra Club. This marks the 11th Season of KCC. A total of 30 plus members showed up, even in the cold Kentucky Feb 2014 weather, a few actual Cobra Snakes, Mustangs, Porsches and civilian cars showed up. Great meeting discussing the upcoming events of the 2014 Season. In particular the First one. A trip out of state to visit our Brothers and Sisters of the North Alabama Cobra Club, hence the following words:

“You’re Not In Kentucky Anymore”
You likely recognize this paraphrase of the famous line from "The Wizard Of Oz".  With a bit of twisting, it fits the club’s first adventure of the 2014 season.  Our eleventh season just in case you have been counting. 

Our first cruise is out of Kentucky.  We are swinging for the fences on the first pitch!  We are headed to Florence---Florence, Alabama (25-27 April) and that means “we are not in Kentucky anymore.” 
We have been invited to visit by fellow members in north Alabama; the planning is well along and the adrenaline is already flowing.  It will be an overnighter. 

Nope, you don’t need a passport but they are Southern, even more so than Kentucky, so plan to bring a smile.  Get 2014 started on the right foot, use all eight cylinders, and carve your initials into the club house wall.  Twisting another famous line from WWII, “KCC was here!”

This Snakes n’ Eggs welcomed our newest members Mike Walker and Pete Peden. Next Snake n’ Eggs will be on 15 March, Frankfort or Louisville, KY.  Don’t miss it.
